Meet Dr. Capobianco – Joined August 2025
Dr. Capobianco was born and raised outside of Boston, MA. He received his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology at Loyola University Maryland. He then attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national honors society.
Thereafter, he received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College while completing a 6-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He completed a 1-year internship with General Surgery, rotating with the surgical subspecialties of Plastic Surgery, Intensive Care, Trauma/ACS, and Surgical Oncology. During residency, he was trained in the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, temporomandibular joint surgery, head and neck pathology and reconstruction, and administration of intravenous sedation. During his final year as Chief Resident, he traveled to Kigali, Rwanda, with Operation Smile to provide oral surgery services to cleft patients and families.
Dr. Capobianco is excited to move back to the northeast with his fiancé, Sarah, and dog, Mona. In his free time, he likes to stay active by doing CrossFit and enjoys live music, fishing, and snowboarding.
